Overview

The Tactical Assault: Technology Cards™ are a fun and easy way to add technological details to your Combat Card or Fantasy Card units. The Technology Cards allow players to customize their units by adding unique technological conditions (both good and bad) which affect each unit’s performance on the battlefield.

Each Technology Card set comes with 18 different technological conditions in a 72-card deck format. Players can either deliberately assign technologies to their units, or simply randomly draw from the deck for a challenging “what if” scenario.

Each set has been carefully designed to be specifically used with either the Combat Cards or the Fantasy Cards core rules (but usually not both; be sure and note which Technology Cards sets are for use with the core rules you are using). Also included with each set are over a hundred colorful tokens which can be used to mark the various technologies applied to battlefield units.

Best of all, the Technology Cards fit seamlessly into either your regular Combat Cards or Fantasy Cards games without much effort – and they are completely compatible with other Tactical Assault expansion set! So what are you waiting for? Take a look around and see if you are ready to “bolt on” the technological details your units deserve…

Info… Sneak Peak

Wednesday, December 7th, 2011

Well, we can sort of let the cat out of the proverbial bag a little now. Another expansion for the Combat Cards is in playtest as we speak.

This one is specifically designed for the gear-head players out there – by allowing folks to bring different technological effects into the game to better fine tune units. With the new expansion you can apply features like shaped charged warheads, improved fire control and limited traverse weaponry to your units, all of which will affect the unit’s performance on the battlefield in one way or another.

The expansion is being designed in such a way as to allow folks to use it either deliberately to recreate the actual strengths & weakness of historical units, or to randomly apply features in the case of “what-if” or futuristic scenarios (or post-apocalyptic, or space colonization, or alien invasion, or… you get the idea).

More information will be coming soon so stay tuned!
