Overview
The Tactical Assault: Technology Cards™ are a fun and easy way to add technological details to your Combat Card or Fantasy Card units. The Technology Cards allow players to customize their units by adding unique technological conditions (both good and bad) which affect each unit’s performance on the battlefield.
Each Technology Card set comes with 18 different technological conditions in a 72-card deck format. Players can either deliberately assign technologies to their units, or simply randomly draw from the deck for a challenging “what if” scenario.
Each set has been carefully designed to be specifically used with either the Combat Cards or the Fantasy Cards core rules (but usually not both; be sure and note which Technology Cards sets are for use with the core rules you are using). Also included with each set are over a hundred colorful tokens which can be used to mark the various technologies applied to battlefield units.
Best of all, the Technology Cards fit seamlessly into either your regular Combat Cards or Fantasy Cards games without much effort – and they are completely compatible with other Tactical Assault expansion set! So what are you waiting for? Take a look around and see if you are ready to “bolt on” the technological details your units deserve…

Inspiration… Another Playtest
Wednesday, February 29th, 2012Here are a few more pictures from a recent playtest. This game was a WWII Combat Cards affair in 6mm Micro Armor between Russian and German forces. Many important tactical lessens were learned – including that open-topped, thinly armored self-propelled guns are very vulnerable to artillery fire when situated alone atop a hill!
Enjoy!
Inspiration… Tech Cards
Friday, February 17th, 2012Here are a few pictures from a recent playtest involving the upcoming Technology Cards. The game was being played skirmish-style with a band of very high tech aliens attacking a human defending force.
A lot of technology was in play (especially on the part of the aliens) which was a real eye-opening experience! It stayed very playable and very interesting though, with unit match-ups being very important to defeating enemy technologies. All in all a very successful playtest!
