March 26, 2012Unfortunately we have been so busy lately, that we haven’t had much time to post a lot of new information on the site. Well, to prove we are actually hard at work on lots of new stuff, here are some pictures from another recent playtest.
As an added bonus, we will also be writing up this fight up as a more formal battle report of sorts – in part because it is one of the last few scheduled playtests for the Technology Cards, and in part because it was the begining of intensive playtesting for another new expansion previously unannounced.
While we can’t quite formally let the cat out of the bag yet, we will give you a clue as to what it is. For this battle the American forces were split between two players; the insurgents had no players…

Clarification… Bunker Units
March 12, 2012Just an FYI, we have tweaked the description of Bunker units in the main Combat Cards rules in the Free Download section to better clarify a Bunker unit’s effect on LOS. Essentially Bunkers are no different than any other unit in terms of blocking LOS, but the description gave the impression that they might not actually block LOS. The offending language has been aggressively removed to restore clarity…
Inspiration… Another Playtest
February 29, 2012Here are a few more pictures from a recent playtest. This game was a WWII Combat Cards affair in 6mm Micro Armor between Russian and German forces. Many important tactical lessens were learned – including that open-topped, thinly armored self-propelled guns are very vulnerable to artillery fire when situated alone atop a hill!
