Update…

August 4, 2011

It has been a while since we posted an update here. Fear not, for it had nothing to do with a lack of information. It had more to do with a monstrous effort to complete a slew of new projects for both the Combat Cards and the Fantasy Cards.  Some are expansions which allow you to add more detail to your units in the games, some are rules for solo and cooperative play using the Cards and some are simply an entirely new format to use and enjoy the cards in.

As we speak, things are progressing nicely. Some of the efforts are in the final playtesting phases, some are in the writing/playtesting phase and some are still in their initial development – but we can assure you that all are moving forward!

So stay tuned, and keep an eye out for more updates. When things are finally available on the site, I have a feeling they will appear in a fast & furious fashion…

One of our lead play testers, Chris Lee, has a blog where he posts regular battle reports, project updates and such. Lately he has been playing in a Combat Cards league at the local game shop and recording the action. His pictures are usually pretty cool, and the miniatures very nicely painted. You can check out his blog here:

Info… New Army & A Bonus

June 30, 2011

There is a new Army of the Week up this week for the Fantasy Cards. This time we meet the Skary Adventurerz, a band of less than savory characters out looking for treasure just like their more civilized brethren.

With this Army of the Week everybody gets a little bonus – a sneak peak at a new expansion that we have coming. All we can say about it at this point is that the expansion can be used for both the Combat Cards and the Fantasy Cards, and that it will allow folks to add a bit more detail and color to their units for each game. As you peruse the army, see if you can spot the effects of the expansion on the units.

The expansion is in playtest right now, so it shouldn’t be too long until it is ready for general release. Until then, stayed tuned for more updates!
